Elections are next week.  Scouting is boy-run, so it's important to be there to vote for your leaders.

 

 

Memorial Day weekend Parade, American Legion , 232 Union Ave, Somerville

Full Class A, meet at 8:30 am; water bottles strongly recommended

Short ceremony at cemetery, back to Legion for lunch

Legion provides financial support for the Eagle Scouts and Troop; all scouts are encouraged to attend;

Somerville bike races after the parade

 

Baltimore Family Campout; let Mr. Seminara know if you want him to order Aquarium tix

3:30-5 Aquarium, 5:00  Dolphin Show

 

PUCO Committee met; PUCO will be held June 12/13/14 at Round Valley

Lots of competition this year: Best Flag; Best Fort; Best Attire; Best overall games get Trophy

Best overall patrol gets a campout meal cooked and served by adults a future campout

 

 

New scouts were welcomed into their new patrols.  Patrol leaders will be elected after PUCO 

 

Final payment due next week for Trexler; $170 plus bar b que fee

See Mrs. Molyneux or other adults (Mr. Jaszyn, Mr. Seminara, Mr. Murphy, Mr. Whalen) next week about merit badges

Jamboree Update

The Jamboree Troop will be manning concessions at Red Mill in Clinton (Saturday June 13)

9-1 or 12-5 sessions (can sign up in partial sessions); Mr. Murphy will help arrange to transport scouts to/from PUCO

Parents are encouraged to participate, afternoon help is especially needed.

Jambo payments are due for May (checks payable to Troop 288, no longer send to council)
