6/9

Went through the mailing list.  I think I weeded out all of the Readington people.  Here is the info I collected at the meeting:

The kids went over the games that will be played at PUCO.  I didn't catch half of what they were saying, but the kids for the most part seemed to be listening.  Apparently, the winning team (points wise - they get points for all sorts of things - their forts, most shots, etc) gets a meal cooked and cleaned up by the "fossils" (the leaders!).  From the meals they have made, it sounds like a good deal!

Shopping was last night, but I didn't hear any Readington kids "volunteered".

Friday:  Meet at the church at 5:30.  Kids should wear class A.  Most of the kids will be going to Clinton for the flag day parade.  Three kids from each patrol will go to Round Valley to set up tents and forts for their respective patrols.  Mr. Murphey will be driving the kids that volunteered for the morning shift of the South Branch food concession stand to Clinton Saturday morning.

Troop 136 (the Jambo thing) will be meeting Sunday - 3pm.

Rick Jacsyn(?) said the last pack campout will be next weekend (?) for the Webelos, and he could use assistance launching rockets.

Trexler kids:  the kids should have spoken to Suzy about what badges they wanted to work on.  Alex is fuzzy about what he signed up for, but once your kid knows what they are signed up for, they should go to Meritbadge.org and print out the badges papers, and take care of the necessary prerequisites.

The troop is missing black stoves from the family camp-out, as well as other equipment.  Please check to make sure you don't have any extra equipment hanging out in your garage/house!

Cheers : )
