Notes from 9/8 meeting

The Annandale yard sale is this Saturday.  The boys will be selling popcorn and drinks at this event.  Signup Sessions are 7-11 or 10-2 or anytime you can help out.

The forms for the two Sept. campouts were due on Tuesday, otherwise there will be a late fee.

There will be a concession stand at the Civil War Encampment weekend and adults are needed to volunteer to work a shift on Sat. Sept. 26.  There is a sign-up sheet at the next few meetings. Shifts are as follows:  9 – 11:00, 10:45 – 12:45, 12:30 – 2:30 & 2:15 -4:15.

Your son should have come home with a list of scheduled events for the upcoming year. They're also posted on the web site.

The troop is sponsoring a trail at Spruce Run.  It’s a small 1-mile trail. 

There will be a Jambo meeting this Sunday (9/13) at the Church from 3 – 5:00 PM.  It’s a critical meeting – they will be taking tee shirt sizes among other things.

There will also be a Patrol Leader meeting this Sunday (9/13) at the Church at 1:00 PM.

Jay Murphy will begin working with boys who have complete partial requirements for badges, beginning next week.  If you have some partials make sure you see Jay to get them completed.  He said if the partials start to drag on too long, you will have to repeat the entire thing.  Its critical to bring your book next week.

Gabriel announced that after the shooting badge campout ends next Sunday, everyone is invited to a pool party at his father’s house ( in Blairstown – he will give out the address next week).

Jay said his wife is working more on Thursdays and another shopper is needed.  Please email him.  Its not hard to do – you are only guiding the boys – they do the shopping.  Its every Thursday before a campout – you meet at the Clinton ShopRite and can be done in one hour.
