1. Have 75% of the new scouts stay in Troop.
  2. Increase and diversify participation in Eagle Projects.
  3. Publish PLC minutes.
  4. Have more organized PLC’s (a) Continue detailed patrol reports (b) Have mini-PLCs to do quick SSC after each meeting to be recorded for further discussion at monthly PLC. (c) Continue to convey criteria for patrol reports. (d) Plan and set dates for PLC, send postcard reminder.
  5. Continue to strengthen the troop by using the patrol method. (a) Set a patrol quartermaster for each event. (b) Patrol quartermaster to check out equipment for each event and keep track of it until returned to troop quartermaster. (c) GAS to be limited to two a month. (d) Two patrol meetings as part of patrol corners at troop meetings before and after PLCs (e) Maintain service, program and spirit patrols with no totem (f) Minimum of two out of troop meeting, patrol meetings: 1 for flag making & 1 for PUCO planning. (g) One patrol only event. (h) Duty roster to be completed prior to campout. (i) During menu planning only those going on trip to plan menu. All others to be do some other meaningful activities. (j) Menus to be more complete in ingredients and shopping list. Remember to make menus nutritious and yummy. (k) Shoppers to be limited to a few times a year.
  6. Continue and advertise incentive base attendance policy.
  7. Pimp our trailer.
  8. Complete two Eagle and three non-required merit badges.
  9. Continue to use whiteboard to publish meeting plans.
  10. Continue to work on our song and skit repertoire.
  11. Review Troop goals at each PLC. Assign each member of PLC to track a goal and report to PLC.
  12. Patrol Leader to encourage and facilitate patrol advancement.
  13. Be more prepared for campouts – individually
  14. Encourage and support Den Chiefs. Provide annual training.
  15. Meetings after campouts to be moved to 7:00 to review troop equipment.
  16. Phone chain for changes needs to be started 48 hours prior to event.
  17. Late fee to be created for activities. To be enforced if you miss flyer hand in date without prior contact.
